The objective of the course is to support teachers and educators to understand the concept of emotional intelligence and implement its principles in their work. It helps in the development of emotional intelligence and effective communication skills for the participants, but also teaches them how to contribute to the development of those skills in their learners.

* To understand key concepts related to emotional intelligence and effective communication in the education context

* To develop awareness on the crucial role of communication and emotions in learning situations

* To learn about concrete methods, approaches and tools used in order to practice emotional intelligence in the classroom

* To learn methods for development of compassion, empathy, active listening amongst the learners

* To practice effective and positive communication skills for better interpersonal relationships in the classroom or with other employees

* To network with other experts in the field and exchange experiences
